BSNL ₹99 vs ₹147 Plan: Which Budget Recharge Should You Choose?

BSNL offers a plan for Rs. 99 with unlimited voice calling. The service validity of this plan is 14 days. However, it only offers 50MB of high-speed 4G data, after which the speed drops to 40 Kbps. Therefore, it's safe to say that this plan isn't for heavy data users. The average daily cost of using this plan is just ₹7.07 per day.
If you want unlimited voice calling, this is a decent price for the short term. If you go with private telecom companies like Vodafone Idea, plans in this price range often come with limited talk time. BSNL's ₹99 plan is currently available in all telecom circles.

This is the company's cheapest service validity bundled prepaid plan currently available in the voice voucher section. Furthermore, you can, of course, recharge with a data voucher above. With a data voucher, you'll be able to use more data.
If you can afford a little more, you can directly purchase the Rs. 147 plan. This offers 5GB of data and unlimited voice calling for 24 days. What these two plans don't offer is SMS benefits. However, if you wish, you can send a port-out SMS to 1900, as per TRAI regulations.
