Bodoland won the Durand Cup on the strength of Robinson, registered its first win in the tournament
Durand Cup 2025: Karbi Anglong's Nigerian forward Joseph Mayowa Olaleye scored the first goal in the 25th minute but Bodoland equalized the score with a goal by Gwagwamsar Gayri in the 37th minute. After this, Robinson scored a goal in the 60th minute to give the team victory. They registered their first win in the tournament by defeating Karbi Anglong 2-1.
A hard-fought encounter was contested between Group D home team Bodoland FC and Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC during the Durand Cup on Thursday. Bodoland secured their inaugural win in the tournament by defeating Karbi Anglong 2-1 on the back of Colombian forward Robinson.

Karbi Anglong's second-best opportunity in the second half was in the 56th minute when Sujeet Singh obtained a free kick, but his shot was misplaced and was deflected straight to Daimary.
