The sixth match of PSL took place between Lahore Qalandars (LHQ) and Karachi Kings (KRK) at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. There is an issue of ball tampering in this match. One of the strong batsmen of Lahore Qalandars is Fakhar Zaman.

In the last over of the match, 14 runs were required by Karachi Kings to win. Haris Rauf was to ball in this over. After this, Lahore captain Shaheen Shah Afridi and Fakhar Zaman proceeded to the run-up area of the bowler and stood nearby. All of them took turns to touch the ball. After discussing with square leg umpire Sharfud-ud-Daula, the umpires confirmed ball tampering and penalized Lahore five runs. The umpires then changed the ball. Karachi needed only nine runs to win, and the team won the match by four wickets with three balls to spare.
