Many vehicles are going to be introduced in India Mobility Global Expo 2025 which is going to be held from 17th to 22nd January. One of them is the Yamaha XSR 155, this modern retro motorcycle is one of the most talked about bikes in the country, which Yamaha is considering launching in India. It is expected that Yamaha can show it in Bharat Mobility in many color options.

The XSR 155 is very important for Yamaha India as it is based on the MT-15 platform. It is already being manufactured in India. This will help control the cost and price. It will also help Yamaha to enter the modern retro motorcycle in India.

One of the biggest features lying with the Yamaha XSR 155 is that a lot of simplicity has been kept in its styling: it gets a round headlamp at the front, a fuel tank shaped like a tear-drop, an exposed delta-box frame, and a really small fender. Much because of this, it indeed looks quite spectacular.

This includes the usage of a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, 155 cc displacing capacity. The new retro-street bike has had its engine mated with a six-speed gearbox indeed. In its design, every kind of bike enthusiast searching for a retro look has found the Yamaha XSR 155. Its appealing body has also been tailored for youth. The steel frame, diamond type features a USD fork and a mono-shock suspension. More details lie in the disc brakes on the front as well as the back wheels.

If this Yamaha bike is presented at the India Mobility Expo, then it will be a great platform to see the interest of possible customers and it will directly compete with the TVS Ronin in the Indian market. For launching it in India, there is no information from the company yet. If this is launched in India then its price can be Rs 1.4-1.8 lakh.
