In the second match of the ongoing 5 T20 match series between New Zealand and Pakistan, captain Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the entire series due to a minor hamstring injury.

While playing the second T20 match against Pakistan, Kane Williamson got injured while batting and he had to retire hurt and return to the pavilion. After that, he neither batted nor came on the field for fielding. The New Zealand Cricket Board had said in a statement at that time that Kane would not take part in this match. Tim Southee will take command in his place. New Zealand defeated Pakistan in that match.

New Zealand has a 2-0 lead in this five-match series. But Kane Williamson will not play the last three matches. He had to be out of the series due to a minor hamstring injury.
