Big blow to India, Shreyanka Patil and Priya Mishra out of Australia tour
Shreyanka Patil and Priya Mishra have been ruled out of India 'A's upcoming Australia tour due to injury. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed this on Thursday.
Shreyanka Patil and Priya Mishra have been eliminated from India A's tour of Australia. As indicated in a previous media release on July 10, both their inclusion was subject to fitness clearance. Both players are being monitored by the BCCI medical team at the Centre of Excellence and are at present undergoing their return-to-play protocols.
India A will host Australia A in a multi-format series from August 7 to 21 involving three T20s, three 50-over games, and a four-day red-ball match. The women's selection committee has retained Dhara Gujjar (previously named in ODI and multi-day squads) and Prema Rawat (previously included in the T20 squad) across all three formats. The committee has also added Yastika Bhatia to the ODI squad.
