New Delhi (India), January 30: Amir Rashid Wani, a 23 years old social activist who is determined to make a difference in his community. He has a vision and dream to change the lives of those living in poverty. Amir hopes to help them find a way out of their situation through education and employment.
Amir Rashid Wani, after passing his 11th class examination, went to a private college in Chandigarh to pursue a Polytechnic Diploma. But even after reaching Chandigarh, he continued to help people irrespective of caste, colour, region and religion. He actively participated in initiatives taken by various organizations dealing with drug addiction and child abuse.
Amir Rashid Wani is the founder of India’s youngest Government recognized organization – ‘Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust’. Its mission is to provide basic amenities like education, health care, food and shelter to the poor and downtrodden sections of the society. These welfare trusts prepare individuals to become equal partners in the progress of the nation and help those affected by disasters to relocate. It aims to provide universal assistance with specific preference to the downtrodden and disadvantaged sections.
