Private telecom company Airtel has released the latest update for its customers. This update has been released for the company's users living in Kerala. The company has given relief regarding the recharge plan for Airtel users living in Wayanad district of Kerala. The company says that those Airtel users living in Kerala Wayanad, whose recharge plan validity has expired and are unable to recharge their phones due to the disaster in Wayanad, do not need to worry about recharge. As a relief to these users, the company is providing 1 GB of free mobile data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS. This offer will be valid for 3 days for Airtel users.

Apart from prepaid, the company has also provided relief to postpaid users. The company has informed that the bill payment date for all postpaid customers is being extended by 30 days so that people living in Kerala can continue to use mobile service even during the tragedy.

Airtel has announced to provide relief material to the local administration. Airtel has converted all its 52 retail stores in Kerala into relief collection points. Here people can leave relief material, which will be handed over to the local administration to send it to the affected communities of Wayanad.
