The Vitality Edition has 15-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, and the Freedom Edition and Flying Edition have 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels. It is offered in four color options: Arctic Blue, Warm Sun White, Polar Night Black, and Peach Pink. Interior color options offered in BYD—other than the mentioned Arctic Blue and Warm Sun White—will be Deep Ocean Blue and Dune Pink. Freedom and Flying editions have a mobile wireless charger, heated front seats, an electric adjustable driver's seat, a 7-inch instrument screen, and a 10.1-inch rotatable infotainment screen.
The base Vitality Edition and mid-spec Freedom Edition carry a small 30.08 kWh battery that can run for up to 305 km on a single charge. The top-spec Flying Edition is kitted with a 38.8 kWh battery pack that enables one to run up to 405 km on a single charge. This electric motor takes the machine from 0 to 50 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Also, the 2025 BYD Seagull has a small battery pack option. Its price on the 30.08 kWh battery pack starts at CNY 69,800 - Rs 8 lakh. The top-spec Flying Edition gets the bigger 38.88 kWh battery pack for a price of CNY 85,800- Rs 10 lakh. Now, about the design changes with its facelift, there have been none on the front. The Build Your Dreams lettering on the rear has been replaced with BYD lettering.
BYD Seagull is likely to be launched in India. After its launch in India, it will create a lot of competition with various electric vehicles.
