2024 Kawasaki Z650RS launched for Rs 6.99 lakh, know what has changed

Kawasaki India has launched the 2024 Z650RS in the Indian market. Its price has been fixed at Rs 6.99 lakh ex-showroom. The only update Kawasaki has made for 2024 is the addition of traction control. Apart from this, not many changes have been made to it by the manufacturer. Let us know about it.

The company has started taking bookings for the latest launched bike. For this, customers can contact the manufacturer's official site or nearest dealership. This motorcycle is offered in India only in Metallic Matte Carbon Gray colour. However, other colours are also available in the global market.

Powering the Z650RS is a 649 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 67 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 64 Nm at 6,700 rpm. A six-speed gearbox with assistance and a slip clutch is available.

Telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear support Kawasaki's tubular diamond frame. Braking is accomplished by two 186 mm discs in the back and two 272 mm discs up front.

The Z650RS also sports chic 17-inch gold alloy wheels that provide a smooth ride on a range of terrain. To increase its sophistication and attract more customers, the company equipped it with a two-mode traction control system. This feature gives the bike excellent manoeuvrability and dependable stability.
