West Indies team announced for T20 series against England and Ireland, Shai Hope will be the captain
West Indies T20I Squads against England and Ireland: Cricket West Indies has announced the team for the three-match T20 International series against England and Ireland.

Cricket West Indies has revealed the squad for the three-match Twenty20 International series to take place against England between June 6- 10 and against Ireland between June 12- 15. The series is the debut for the new T20 captain, Shai Hope. The West Indies team has welcomed back Jason Holder against England and Ireland, who played their last match for the Caribbean team in the shortest format back in February 2024.
Andre Russell, who got injured playing the opening match of the series against England last year in Barbados, is back in the team but has been chosen only for the England tour. Nicholas Pooran has been rested for the two series following his long stint of playing for the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL).
Test captain Roston Chase will join his teammates in the Test series camp to be held in Barbados from June 13 to 21 after the T20 series against England. The camp will be held ahead of the three-Test series against Australia for the Sir Frank Worrell Trophy.
As far as the T20 International match against Ireland is concerned, Brandon King has not been selected in the West Indies team. Jade Gully, who performed brilliantly in the first match of the West Indies Breakout League and was a member of the 2016 ICC Under-19 World Cup team, has been included in the senior team for the first time in place of Roston Chase. In-form batsman Keesy Carty has been included in place of Brandon King.
