Volkswagen Golf GTI launched; Know about the features and the price

Volkswagen, one of the leading German automakers, has formally launched the Volkswagen Golf GTI in the Indian market. Know at what price it has been launched by the manufacturer, and with what kind of features and engine is it being offered. 

Volkswagen has launched the Golf GTI as a premium car in the Indian market. The manufacturer had already begun booking for the car, and its first lot was booked in a few days since booking had started.

Volkswagen Golf GTI has a variety of excellent features. It comes with 12.9 inch infotainment system, 10.25 inch digital instrumentation, seven speaker audio system, wireless charging, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, ambient lights, panoramic roof, climate control with three zones, AC vents in the back, keyless go, start button, GTI badging, disc brakes for all four tyres, 18 inch alloys, 45 liter capacity petrol tank.

It features safety equipment such as seven airbags, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist, brake assist, electronic front differential lock, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, front assist, rear view camera.

Volkswagen has made the Golf GTI available in four color choices. These are Kings Red Metallic, Oryx White Pearl, Moonstone Grey, and Grenadilla Black Metallic.

Volkswagen Golf GTI is getting a two-liter TSI engine. With this engine, the car takes only 5.9 seconds to reach a speed of 0-100 kilometers. The two-liter engine gives the car 265 horsepower and 370 Newton-meters torque. Along with this, it gets a 7-speed DSG transmission.

The ex-showroom price of Volkswagen Golf GTI has been kept at Rs 53 lakh (Volkswagen Golf GTI price India). This price is an introductory price, which can be changed later.

This car has been launched by Volkswagen as a premium car. In such a situation, it will compete directly with cars like the Mini Cooper.
