Vivo brings V40 Lite 5G and 4G with 50MP primary camera and 5000mAh battery with 32 MP selfie camera
Vivo has launched two smartphones Vivo V40 Lite 5G and Vivo V40 Lite 4G in Indonesia. Both the phones are members of the company's camera-centric series V40. Vivo has given a 50-megapixel primary camera in both these phones. Along with this, talking about the front camera, both the smartphones have a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Vivo has launched two new phones of its camera-centric smartphone Vivo V40 series. The company has launched Vivo V40 Lite 5G and Vivo V40 Lite 4G in Indonesia. The design and key specifications of both phones are the same. The company has introduced the 5G variant with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and the 4G variant with Snapdragon 685. Both phones have a 32-megapixel primary camera. Along with this, the phone has a 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.
Two variations of the Vivo V40 Lite 5G have been released. For IDR 4,299,000 (about Rs 23,700), the 8GB + 256GB base variant of the phone has been released in Indonesia. There is currently no word on the cost of its second edition, which will include 12GB + 512 GB.
Regarding the Vivo V40 Lite 4G, the entry-level model including 8GB + 128GB has been released for IDR 3,599,000 (around Rs 19,900). In addition, the 8GB + 256GB version, priced at IDR 3,699,000 (about Rs 20,400), has been released.
Titanium Silver and Carbon Black are the new color options for the Vivo V40 Lite 5G. Users of the 4G model will also get the choice of Whirl Violet color at the same time.
Specifications of Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G:
- Display: The Vivo V40 Lite 5G and V40 Lite 4G feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a pixel count of 1080x2400, succeeding an AMOLED screen with an integrated refresh rate of 120Hz. The peak brightness of the display is 1800 nits.
- Processors and RAM: The processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 has been given in the Vivo V40 Lite 5G smartphone. This phone has up to 12 GB RAM. Talking about the 4G variant, this phone has been launched in the market with Snapdragon 685 having up to 8GB of RAM. Vivo has provided support for Android 14 in both phones.
- Camera: Both Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G sport dual rear cameras. The 5G model comes with a 50 MP Sony IMX582 main sensor. The secondary camera on the phone is an 8MP ultrawide sensor. In comparison, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G has a 50 MP primary sensor, coupled with a 2 MP depth sensor. Both the Vivo phones sport a 32 MP selfie shooter.
- Battery and Charging: A large 5000mAh battery sits on the Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G. Now, both phones have fast charging at 80W.
- Connectivity and other features: In terms of security, both phones sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, NFC, and USB Type-C.
