Vietnamese auto manufacturer VinFast is preparing to introduce the VF e34 electric SUV in India. After launching its EV plant in Tamil Nadu on February 26, 2024, the company is currently testing the VinFast VF e34 SUV on Indian roads. It is expected to be launched in the first half of 2025.

In terms of design, the spied test mule is similar to the VF e34 offered around the world. The spy pictures, which show an LED headlamp configuration and sleek-looking LED DRLs, reveal that the electric SUV will have a front bumper-mounted radar for ADAS and a massive back bumper.

The VF e34 electric SUV is expected to feature the same cabin layout as the international-spec variant. The VinFast VF e34 includes a 10-inch vertically positioned touchscreen entertainment system, a 7-inch coloured instrument cluster, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and ventilated front seats. Other notable inside features include keyless entry, an air purifier, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a USB port.

The global-spec VinFast VF e34 has six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a rear parking camera and occupant status detection.

Equipped with a 41.9 kWh LFP battery and a front-axle mounted single electric motor, the Vietnam-spec VF e34 produces a maximum power of 150 hp and a peak torque of 242 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 9 seconds and has a top speed of 130 kmph. The VinFast VF e34 will offer a NEDC-certified range of 318 km on a single charge.
