Two brave officers of the Navy reached the farthest area from land, 'Point Nemo', this achievement is very special

Two brave female officers of the Indian Navy have achieved a significant feat. In fact, both these female officers have taken a journey all over the world in INSV Tarini. INSV Tarini, under this campaign, has journeyed through the remotest sea region in the whole universe, Point Nemo. In a social media post, the Indian Navy stated that it reflects combative, bold, and adventurous behavior.
Lieutenant Commander Dilna K and Lieutenant Commander Rupa A, two female Indian Navy officers, have taken a trip to explore the whole world by sea. Under Navika Sagar Parikrama 2, both female officers reached Point Nemo. It is completely isolated from the whole world and it is the most distant sea zone in terms of earth.
Point Nemo is a water area located in the South Pacific Ocean. Its distance from Antarctica is 1,674 miles. Its distance from Ducie Island is 1,666 miles, from Easter Island it is 1,666 miles, from Chile it is 2,624 miles, and from Wellington, New Zealand it is about 2,980 miles.

Former Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi flagged off INSV Tarini for the second edition of Navika Sagar Parikrama in October last year. Under this expedition, both the women officers of the Navy are traveling 23,400 nautical miles in 240 days. Under this expedition, the boat INSV Tarini will cross four continents, three oceans, and three difficult capes. This expedition is an important mission to showcase India's maritime capabilities. This journey, which started from Goa, reached Fremantle in Australia, then Littleton in New Zealand, and from Littleton it will reach Port Stanley in Falkland Island. After this, the journey will end back in Goa via Cape Town in South Africa.
