With the help of the Trending Topics feature, users will be able to see viral and trending searches going on in real time. Currently, this feature is still being tested. X has a trending subjects feature within the search bar that includes trending hashtags and keywords.

Since the launch of Threads in July this year, users have been asking for the Trending Topics feature to help them find the hottest topics on Meta's Twitter/X competitor. Sensor Tower data shows that Threads was downloaded the most on the first day in India. About 22% of the total downloads of this app are from India. India was followed by Brazil and the US, with 16% and 14% downloads respectively. According to statistics, 25% of downloads on the first day were on iOS and 75% on Android.
