Tragedy Strikes as Rinku’s Father Breathes His Last in Greater Noida Hospital
Rinku Singh's Father Death: A sea of grief has fallen upon Indian star batsman Rinku Singh, who is playing in the T20 World Cup. His father, Khanchand Singh, has passed away.
Indian cricketer Rinku Singh’s father, Khanchand Singh, is no more. He was suffering from stage 4 liver cancer for a long time. He was admitted to Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. He was in a critical condition for some time, and recently, his health deteriorated. He was placed on a ventilator, but he could not be saved, and he passed away.
This news comes at a time when Rinku is playing for India in the T20 World Cup 2026. On Wednesday, Rinku visited his father at the hospital. After spending some time with him, he returned to play in the T20 World Cup. However, he did not get a chance to play against Zimbabwe.
This has been a very difficult time for Rinku Singh mentally. While India kept their semifinal hopes alive by defeating Zimbabwe by 72 runs on Thursday, this tragic news has cast a pall of gloom over the team.
