In addition to his solo albums, he has also made appearances on reality shows. Notably, his song 'Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag' was remixed by the US-based singer Pinky Paras.

Born as Amrik Singh on June 10, 1977, in Durgapur, West Bengal, Mika Singh is the youngest of eight siblings, including two daughters and six sons. He and his elder brother Daler Mehndi drew inspiration from their father, Ajmer Singh, a skilled classical musician, who introduced them to the world of music by singing kirtans at the Patna Sahib Gurdwara since their childhood.
