X TV app will be launched soon, Elon Musk said - beta version has been released

X (formerly Twitter) is soon working on a TV app, after which you will be able to use X on your smart TV as well. The X TV app has been in development for quite some time, and Elon Musk has confirmed that a beta version for Android TV has been released. The beta version of X TV is compatible with LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV. The update for other devices will be available soon. Elon Musk has not yet announced a launch date for X TV.

If you think the X TV app is an app that will allow you to access the social media platform X on TV, you are mistaken. Actually, X TV is a new video streaming service with the official name X-Stream Service TV.

Apart from local TV channels, you will be able to watch all kinds of sports, movies music, etc. live on the X TV app. A replay feature will also be available in it. Apart from this, using cloud service, you will be able to save 72 hours of shows on the cloud. Along with this, 100 hours of DVR recording will also be available for free, however, an X account will be required to use X TV.
