The worm of deepfake has now reached America also. A deepfake photo of famous pop singer Taylor Swift has gone viral, after which a new debate has erupted in America regarding deepfakes. Swift's fake photos going viral on social media have drawn the attention of American leaders towards deepfakes. There is a demand in America to ban it completely and take strict action against those who prepare it.

Taylor Swift's photos are going viral on Facebook and Telegram, which a US lawmaker has described as "horrific". He has said on every post that appropriate action will be taken against those who share the photo. Social media companies have also been asked to remove this photo.
