Tata Motors has launched the new SUV, the Tata Sierra. Bookings will begin on December 16, 2025, and deliveries will begin on January 15, 2026. It boasts impressive features and powerful engine options. Its starting ex-showroom price is ₹11.49 lakh. The Tata Sierra will compete with SUVs like the Maruti Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta.
Tata Motors is the leading automaker of India, selling vehicles across multiple segments. Very recently, the manufacturer launched the Tata Sierra as a new SUV. The Sierra has been launched as a mid-size SUV by Tata Motors. The manufacturer has revealed the ex-showroom price of only the base variant of this SUV for now. Other than that, the pricing of any other variant has not been announced.
The manufacturer has also announced the booking date of this SUV at the time of launch. As per the information, bookings for this SUV will start from December 16, 2025. Once the booking starts, this SUV can be booked through online and offline dealerships.
Once the SUV is booked, there will be a wait for its delivery. According to the information, after booking this SUV, its delivery will begin on January 15, 2026.

The manufacturer has offered many excellent features in this SUV. The manufacturer has provided features like 19-inch alloy wheels, 17mm slimmest connected LED headlights, connected LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, connected LED taillights, flush door handles, cornering fog lamps, triple screen, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 360-degree camera, blindspot monitoring system, HypAR HUD, dual-zone climate control, Dolby Atmos audio system with 12 speakers, Sonic Shaft sound bar, 5G connectivity, segment-largest panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and electric front seats, rear sunshade, air purifier, cooled glove box, powered tailgate, terrain modes, paddle shifters etc.
The manufacturer has provided three engine options in this SUV, out of which two options are petrol engines and one option is diesel engine. It also offers manual and automatic transmission options.
Tata has set the Sierra's ex-showroom price at ₹11.49 lakh. This is an introductory price and is subject to change later.
The Tata Sierra is offered in the mid-size SUV segment in the Indian market. In this segment, it will compete directly with SUVs like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and Mahindra Scorpio.
