Question raised on the quality of Dukes ball in IND vs ENG Test Series, now the manufacturing company has taken this decision

Dukes ball was employed in the initial three Test matches between India and England. But there have been some issues mentioned regarding the ball by some experts. Now the company manufacturing the Dukes ball is going to begin the process of investigations to know the issues regarding it. Dukes balls are regarded as high-standard balls. It has been manufactured since 1760. The Dukes ball was employed in the first three Test matches of the current Test series between India and England. According to reports, the second new ball starts getting soft even before it arrives.

Dilip Jajodia, owner of Cricket Balls Limited, a British company that makes Dukes balls, said on Friday, "We will take the ball. We will discuss and examine the leather and other raw materials used in its manufacture. Every small, big thing will be reviewed, and then if we feel that some changes need to be made, we will do it."

The ball is becoming very soft and losing its shape even before its scheduled use, especially after the first 30 overs, due to which it has become difficult for the bowlers of both teams to take wickets.
