Dabang Delhi thrashed U Mumba by a whoppng 47-26 margin in the 50th game of the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) played at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium here on Thursday, courtesy of an all-time record breaking performance by captain Ashu Malik with 23 points.

Captain Ashu Malik gave a record-breaking performance for Dabang Delhi in this match. He netted the maximum 23 points. Besides Ashu, Neeraj Narwal earned seven points and Fazel Atrachali earned four. For U Mumba, Sandeep Kumar alone earned 11 points. This was Dabang Delhi's seventh success in eight matches, and the team has now come back to the top of the points table with 14 points. On the other hand, U Mumba received its fifth defeat in nine matches.

Captain Ashu Malik started well for Dabang Delhi and Sandeep Kumar for U Mumba, and the two teams were tied 4-4 in the first five minutes. However, U Mumba, aided by Sandeep and Bonus, surged ahead and took a three-point lead. However, Neeraj Narwal's super raid gave U Mumba a 9-7 lead in the first 10 minutes. However, Ashu Malik continued to score points for Delhi, bringing the team to a 12-12 draw by the 15th minute. Meanwhile, U Mumba made a super tackle to take a two-point lead. However, Ashu Malik again all-outed U Mumba, keeping the score 19-17 in Delhi's favor at the end of the first half. Ashu scored his sixth Super-10 of the season.
