Haider Ali, 24, is a member of the Pakistan A team, who has been provisionally suspended by the Pakistan Cricket Board until the completion of the inquiry. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the report of rape was received on Monday.
Greater Manchester Police said in its statement, 'We have arrested a 24-year-old man. It is alleged that the incident took place on 23 July 2025 in the premises of Manchester. The person is currently on bail and investigation will be done for further action.' Police in England did not name the cricketer due to suspicion at this stage of the investigation.
