Indian team bowler Deepak Chahar is completely fit after recovering from his injury and is waiting for his return. In such a situation, Chahar spoke to a news agency during the promotional event of his brand D9.

Chahar was out of Team India due to his injuries. The 31-year-old bowler last played cricket for India in December last year. Due to injury, he was also out of the initial matches of CSK IPL.

Now Chahar said about his return to the team, "A player should not be disappointed by injuries. These things are not in the hands of any player. Right now my priority is to stay fit and be available for the team. Whenever I get a chance, I will give my 100 percent performance for the team."

Chahar further said that for me it can be said that I was having a bad time. Last year I had a back injury, which is serious for a fast bowler, but now I am completely fit. I am very happy with my bowling at the moment.

Chahar further said that I am trying to make a comeback in Team India. I recently played in the RPL (Rajasthan Premier League) tournament. Till Sunday I was at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bengaluru. I was practicing with the Indian team going to China for the Asian Games.

Regarding the World Cup, Chahar said, "I have won many tournaments for India for the first time. In 2018, I played the first Asia Cup and won it. I have played five finals in the last six IPL seasons and have been champion three times. I have not played the World Cup yet and whenever I get a chance, I want to contribute to the team's victory."

Chahar said that he has learned a lot from Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. I am very fortunate that I got a chance to spend time with Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni). I have been playing with him for many years. I consider him as my elder brother and my role model. I respect him a lot as a player and person. I have learned a lot from him."
