Rolls-Royce Specter launch date revealed; Know the day it will enter the electric market

Rolls-Royce, a British luxury car manufacturer, will soon introduce a high-end model into the Indian market. The next car will have an electric version when it debuts in the market. This will be the manufacturer's first EV to be introduced in this market. The vehicle's launch date was recently revealed. Here, we will provide information on this.

The official announcement from Rolls-Royce states that this car will go on sale on January 19, 2024. This car will be positioned between the Phantom and Ghost that are currently on the market in other regions. Regarding the impending Spectre's price, nothing is known. However, it is anticipated to go on sale for between Rs. 7-9 crore.

This electric vehicle was not created using the company's own V12 platform if rumours are to be believed. Instead, this car will use a 4-wheel drive system. Its built-in motor will function to supply electricity to each wheel.

This will feature a 900 Nm powertrain and a 430 Kw battery pack, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. It will come with an additional battery pack that can cover 333 miles or 520 kilometres on a single charge.

It has been reported that the vehicle's front end will feature the biggest grille ever, eliminating the split headlight treatment. It is worth noting that the company's iconic Pantheon grill with 22 LED lights will be retained in it. Not only this, Rolls-Royce has changed its trademark Spirit of Ecstasy for the EV vehicle.
