The end of the year is a very exciting time for the smartphone market. Android brands launch their latest and best devices. Following OnePlus and Oppo, Realme is set to launch its flagship device, the Realme GT 8 Pro, on Thursday, November 20th. The GT 8 Pro will not only be a spec upgrade over its predecessor, but will also come with unique design additions and new Ricoh-branded cameras.

The Realme GT 8 Pro stands out from other flagship phones in terms of design. This device will feature swappable camera modules, allowing you to customize the phone's design. These modules are secured with two Torx screws and attach quickly via magnets. Realme will offer several design options, including square, round, and even robot-themed modules.

The GT 8 Pro will also feature a paper-like vegan leather back, made from recycled materials and refined with photonic nano-carving technology. This feature may be especially appealing to users who prefer environmentally friendly products.

The GT 8 Pro will introduce Realme's new camera collaboration with Ricoh. Both companies claim this partnership was developed after four years of development. The Realme GT 8 Pro features a 50-megapixel anti-glare main sensor with Ricoh GR mode. Ricoh GR mode offers five film tones: positive, negative, high-contrast black and white, standard, and monochrome.

Additionally, the phone features a 200-megapixel telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom and 12x lossless zoom. The rear camera setup also includes a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The Realme GT 8 Pro supports 4K 120fps video recording with Dolby Vision support.

The Realme GT 8 Pro will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which delivers high performance. This processor is accompanied by a Hyper Vision AI chip, which enhances AI performance. The phone also features Realme's custom R1 graphics chip, which improves gaming and graphics.

The Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 4,000 nits of peak brightness. The device will pack a large 7,000mAh battery, but its thickness will be only 8.2mm. The phone will support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The global launch of the Realme GT 8 Pro will be livestreamed. Users can visit the company's official YouTube channel to watch the launch. The livestream will begin today, November 20, at 12 noon IST.
