Ram Mandir: Home Ministry alert regarding cyber attack, team of experts leaves for Ayodhya
Ram Mandir: Before the opening of the Ram Temple, the Home Ministry dispatched a highly skilled team of cyber experts to Ayodhya to address cyber threats. This team consists of MHA I4C members, Meity officers, IB, CERT-IN officers, and cyber experts.
The Lord Ram statue in Ayodhya's recently constructed Ram temple will be dedicated on January 22. Before that, a variety of preparations are being made. In the past few days, individuals have received numerous false messages purporting to be from the Ram Temple, and these messages have resulted in the theft of their money.
Additionally, cybercriminals are profiting from the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha event. The Ram temple is currently experiencing a variety of frauds, including those involving donations, prasad offerings, and VIP passes. VIP passes for entry into Ayodhya on January 22 are being distributed via WhatsApp.
The surprising thing is that these passes are not being sent by the administration but by cyber thugs. The message being sent on WhatsApp reads, "You are getting a VIP pass for the inauguration of Ram Mandir on 22nd January; download the VIP pass by installing the application."
Information has been obtained regarding numerous websites that purport to provide VIP passes while also collecting money from users for Prasad. In light of all of this, the Home Ministry has dispatched a team of highly skilled cyber experts to Ayodhya to address cyber threats before the opening of the Ram Temple. This team consists of MHA I4C members, Meity officers, IB, CERT-IN officers, and cyber experts.
