Jaipur accident: On Friday morning in Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway, in the Bhankrota area, a tanker full of LPG gas took a U-turn and a truck coming from behind hit it and exploded. In the accident that took place near Delhi Public School at around 6 am, seven people died on the spot due to burning alive and three people died during treatment in the hospital.

On Friday morning in Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway, in the Bhankrota area, a tanker full of LPG gas took a U-turn and an explosion took place. In the accident that took place near Delhi Public School at around 6 am, seven people died on the spot due to burning alive and three people died during treatment in the hospital. About three dozen people are burnt. Out of these, the condition of 10 is critical. One of them died late at night. A total of 12 people died in the accident.

The fire from the tanker was so fierce that more than 40 vehicles passing through the highway and standing nearby were burnt to ashes. A private sleeper bus going from Udaipur to Jaipur also got burnt. There were 34 passengers in the bus, out of which 20 were burnt. The bus was running behind the tanker. After the fire was extinguished, the bodies of three people were taken to the hospital from the spot. The driver and bus conductor are missing.

After the gas leaked from the tanker, many birds were also burnt by the flames of about 200 feet high. The President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, Governor, and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal have expressed deep sorrow over the incident. Prime Minister Modi has posted on X and announced financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the relatives of the deceased in the accident and 50 thousand rupees to the injured.
