CAPF, Rahul Gandhi: On Tuesday, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi met the Alliance of All Ex Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association in Lok Sabha. In the meeting, many demands related to the welfare of the Central Paramilitary Forces were discussed.

All Ex-Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association Alliance members met Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday. The Parliament House meeting lasted for about 45 minutes. Rahul Gandhi discussed several demands related to the welfare of the Central Paramilitary Forces. Rahul Gandhi assured the 15-member paramilitary delegation led by former ADG HR Singh that as far as possible, the Congress Party would continue to raise its voice on issues related to their welfare.
Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi praised the national service being done by the Central Paramilitary Forces. Ranbir Singh, general secretary of the Alliance of All Ex Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, said, for the first time Rahul Gandhi has spoken in great detail about the welfare-related issues of the border guards. A number of issues were raised in the meeting which lasted about 45 minutes. These include restoration of old pension, formation of paramilitary welfare boards in Congress-ruled states, liquor facility for CISF jawans under CLMS app, discrimination in martyrdom, opening of CGHS dispensaries at district level in states, formation of Paramilitary Flag Day Fund on the lines of Army Flag Day Fund, etc., which were brought to the notice of Rahul Gandhi.
The delegation included former ADG CRPF HR Singh, former IG BSF ML Verma, former IG ITBP SK Sharma, former Commandant Munshiram Shekhawat, former Deputy Commandant Subhash Chandra, President of Karnataka Chapter of the Association MPN Reddy, Shyam Sundar Reddy President Telangana, Ayum Khan President Jammu Kashmir, Sardar Joga Singh Punjab, Randhir Singh Bahadurgarh, GBS Subramaniam Joint Secretary Andhra Pradesh, VS Kadam Treasurer, Kali Ram President Sonipat and Ramchandra Sunda President Rajasthan, etc. who reached the Parliament House office.
