World Food India 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second edition of World Food India at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital on Friday. The event is set to host participants from over 80 countries including CEOs of leading food processing companies. It will also have the facility of reverse buyer-seller meetings with more than 1200 foreign buyers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second edition of World Food India at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital on Friday. During this period, the PM will distribute seed capital assistance to more than one lakh Self Help Groups (SHGs). He will also inaugurate a 'Food Street'. It will showcase regional cuisine and the royal culinary heritage.

In which more than 200 'chefs' will participate and present traditional Indian dishes. Its first edition was organized in the year 2017, but in subsequent years it could not be organized due to the Corona epidemic.

The event is set to host participants from over 80 countries including CEOs of leading food processing companies. It will also feature a 'Reverse Buyer Seller Meet' with over 1,200 foreign buyers. The Netherlands will serve as the partner country, while Japan will be the focus country of the event.
