Whereas the all-India average price of potato on Monday is Rs 25.24 per kg and tomato is Rs 38.18 per kg.
The increase in the prices of vegetables in the country has troubled the common man a lot. The government has released figures regarding onion prices. According to these data, the all-India average retail price of onion on Monday was Rs 59.09 per kg.
Still, the price of onion remains at a very high level. Whereas, to reduce onion prices in the country, the government curbed the export of onions. Along with this, to boost the supply of onion, the government imposed a minimum export price of US $ 800 per ton.
After the shortage of onions in the country, their price reached around Rs 80 per kg. On Monday, the price of onion was Rs 59.09 per kg. Whereas the highest price was recorded at Rs 90 per kg and the lowest price was recorded at Rs 20 per kg. Their price has fallen to around Rs 60 per kg in the capital Delhi.
