OnePlus's most powerful 5G phone: Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and 7,300mAh battery too

OnePlus is currently preparing to launch its next flagship 5G phone. Yes, the company may soon introduce the OnePlus 15, which could be launched in China later this year. After the launch in China, the company may release this phone in India in early 2026. Although the company hasn't confirmed any details yet, some features of the upcoming device have already been leaked. This provides a glimpse of what will make the OnePlus's next flagship special.

It is reported that OnePlus might first launch this flagship device in China around October 2025, followed by a global release in early 2026. Reports also suggest that this new device could be introduced alongside the OnePlus Ace 6. After launching the flagship, the company may also introduce an affordable version, the OnePlus 15R.

Recent leaks indicate that this device could feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it might be powered by Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, enhancing its performance. The phone could also feature a custom Orion CPU, Adreno GPU, and LPDDR5X + UFS 4.1 storage. To further boost speed, it might include a dedicated 16MB cache.

This phone is expected to excel in camera and battery technology, supporting up to 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It could house a powerful 7,300mAh battery.

As for the camera, the device might come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope camera. For selfies, a 32MP front camera could be included. The anticipated price of the OnePlus 15 in India is around Rs 80,000.
