OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus Pad 15R and OnePlus Pad Go on its launch event today, December 17th. The Chinese smartphone brand has already unveiled some key specifications of its new handsets to be launched in Bengaluru.

The OnePlus 15R is set to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, a step up from the predecessor that came with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The device will also come with a Wi-Fi chip, in addition to a touch response chip.

The upcoming device will feature a 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED display, similar to the OnePlus 15. However, the 15R will likely feature an LTPS panel instead of the LTPO panel seen on the flagship device.
The company has also confirmed that the OnePlus 15R will have a 7,400mAh battery, which is larger than the 6,000mAh battery on the 13R. OnePlus has also confirmed that the device will feature a 32MP selfie shooter with autofocus support on the front.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will feature a 12.1-inch display with a 7:5 aspect ratio and 284 pixels per inch. This budget tablet will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor based on a 4nm process.
The Pad Go 2 will feature a large 10,050mAh battery with SUPERVOOC wired fast charging support. The tablet will also have stylus support. OnePlus will also offer 5G support in the Shadow Black variant.
The OnePlus Pad Go was launched in India at a starting price of ₹19,999. The upcoming tablet is expected to launch in the same price range. However, due to the recent increase in memory chip prices, the price of the budget tablet may increase slightly.
The OnePlus 13R was launched in India at ₹42,999, and the 15R is expected to be priced in the same bracket. However, leaks suggest that the phone's price may increase slightly, meaning it could start around ₹45,000.
