No RAC or Waiting List on Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, Confirms Railways
Vande Bharat Sleeper: The Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, set to begin operations next week, will run with only confirmed tickets, as Railways have removed the RAC and waiting list facilities. The minimum chargeable distance will be 400 km, with fares higher than Rajdhani Express trains. VIP quota will not be available, while standard quotas will continue. All berths will be open for booking from the start of the advance reservation period.
The Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, starting service next week, will not provide Reservation Against Cancellation (RAC). Ticket prices for this train are slightly higher than those for other premium services like the Rajdhani Express. Passengers will pay the minimum fare for journeys up to 400 kilometers.
A circular from the Railway Board states, "The minimum chargeable distance will be 400 kilometers. Only confirmed tickets will be issued for this train. There will be no RAC, waiting list, or partially confirmed tickets. All berths will be available from the start of the Advance Reservation Period (ARP)."
