INSV Tarini, under this campaign, has journeyed through the remotest sea region in the whole universe, Point Nemo. In a social media post, the Indian Navy stated that it reflects combative, bold, and adventurous behavior.
Lieutenant Commander Dilna K and Lieutenant Commander Rupa A, two female Indian Navy officers, have taken a trip to explore the whole world by sea. Under Navika Sagar Parikrama 2, both female officers reached Point Nemo. It is completely isolated from the whole world and it is the most distant sea zone in terms of earth.
Point Nemo is a water area located in the South Pacific Ocean. Its distance from Antarctica is 1,674 miles. Its distance from Ducie Island is 1,666 miles, from Easter Island it is 1,666 miles, from Chile it is 2,624 miles, and from Wellington, New Zealand it is about 2,980 miles.
