Jagannath Rath Yatra begins tomorrow, more than 10 lakh devotees will reach; AI cameras and drones will keep an eye

More than 10 lakh devotees from the country and abroad are expected to reach this grand event of Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra to be held on the second day of Ashadh month. The President of the country Draupadi Murmu has reached Bhubaneswar to participate in the Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra. The police have made tight security arrangements for the security of this historic journey. At the same time, it has been decided to use AI technology to control the crowd.

ADG (Law and Order) Sanjay Kumar has been quoted as saying that the police are using AI cameras and drones for the first time. This will help in detecting the crowd, counting the vehicle, and getting the right information at the right time. Apart from this, three companies of Rapid Action Force, two companies of CRPF, and eight platoons of SOG Group will accompany the Yatra at every step.

On the other hand, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida participated in a cleanliness effort in Puri on Saturday, before the start of the Rath Yatra. Sharing photos of the event on social media, CM Majhi stated, "I feel blessed to be a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan organized at Puri Lada Danda before the holy Rath Yatra." Lord Sri Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra will emerge from Bardana's jeweled throne tomorrow (Sunday) to give darshan to millions of pilgrims.
