Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on three-day visit to Sri Lanka, will address NAAM 200 program
Nirmala Sitharaman: Other invitees from Indian political parties and a representative of the Malaysian Tamil Congress will attend the event, according to a Finance Ministry press release. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will leave for a three-day visit to Sri Lanka on Wednesday. During the visit, Sitharaman will be speaking as the guest of honor at 'NAAM 200' organized by the Government of Sri Lanka at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the arrival of Indian Origin Tamils (IOTs) in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardene, Sri Lankan Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development Jeevan Thondaman, senior leaders of political parties, and several other dignitaries will participate in "NAAM 200".
Sitharaman will hold meetings with Ranilwickramasinghe and Dinesh Gunawardene during her three-day visit to Sri Lanka. According to a Finance Ministry press release, she will witness the exchange of MoU for solar electrification of religious places in Sri Lanka.
