Ford Motor is potentially going to make a comeback in the Indian market. If the company enters here, then Endeavor will again be seen running on Indian roads. Let us tell you that Ford sells this premium SUV in the global market under the name of Everest.

Ford Motor is reportedly planning to return to India after a gap of two years. The models it can launch also include Endeavour. This SUV was recently seen with the Ford Ranger, after which the possibility of Ford's return to India has increased.

The new generation Endeavour was supposed to launch in 2022, a few months after Ford left India. It was sold as Everest in international markets like Australia and South-East Asia. The Endeavour now measures 146 mm in its new avatar.

The ladder frame architecture employed in Endeavour is unaffected by this. Along with a slight increase in height and length, the SUV's wheelbase grew from 2,850 to 2,900 mm, indicating more interior space.

The updated Endeavour has undergone numerous modifications. The SUV's design has been refined and squared off, featuring a larger front grille, matrix LED headlights, and LED DRL units. A horizontal bar connects the headlight units. The size of the alloy wheel is kept between 17 inches to 21 inches depending on the variant.

This SUV comes with many great features, which include a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, powered tailgate, and auto-folding third-row seats. Apart from this, the interior of the SUV comes with all-black theme.

The Everest SUV seen in India could be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel or 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine. The turbo engine can produce power of 168 bhp, while the bi-turbo can generate power of 208 bhp. The torque output is 405 Nm. The turbo diesel engine uses a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the Bi-Turbo gets a 10-speed automatic transmission.
