The passengers traveling on the Namo Bharat train and the Delhi Metro, since a person booking a Namo Bharat train ticket at the RRTS Connect app will also be able to book a ticket for the Delhi Metro. Similarly, a person booking a Delhi Metro ticket at the DMRC app will be able to book a Namo Bharat train ticket in return. It would work be integrating both the DMRC and NCRTC ticketing systems with a single Delhi Metro QR code on the NCTRC mobile app, while similarly putting a Namo Bharat QR code on the DMRC mobile app.

In a significant development, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation, known as the NCRTC, and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, or DMRC, on Wednesday signed an MOU for integration of their respective ticketing systems. This will ensure that the residents of NCR will be able to move across Delhi and NCR without any hassles. This is part of the 'One India, One Ticket' project, which will enable bookings of QR Code tickets for Namo Bharat and Delhi Metro from one place.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Shalabh Goyal - Managing Director, NCRTC, and Dr. Vikas Kumar, Managing Director DMRC.  With this agreement, passengers booking Namo Bharat train tickets from the RRTS Connect app will also be able to buy Delhi Metro tickets. Similarly, Namo Bharat train tickets will be bookable from the DMRC mobile app for booking metro tickets as well.

This initiative is part of the PM National Gati Shakti Master Plan. This agreement will do away with the inconvenience of switching between various ticketing apps while switching between NCRTC and DMRC networks. The 42 km RRTS corridor currently operational seamlessly connects 393 km of the DMRC network. This initiative follows a similar one that NCRTC signed with RRCTC recently for NaMo Bharat ticket booking on the RRCTC platforms.

While the current reduced travel time in the region is by one-third, with a 180 kmph of design speed and an operational speed of up to 160 kmph, the Namo Bharat Train is expected to bring a transformation in the way traveling is done by June 2025. NaMo Bharat Train services are targeted to be operational by June 2025 on 82 km of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, enabling commuters to come from Delhi to reach Meerut in less than an hour.
