Though fans spent lakhs of rupees to watch the UEFA Champions League football final game played between Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Munich, Germany, last week, two individuals watched this game free of cost. Two young men by the name of Neil Remery and Sean Haverbeck from Belgium have reported that they stayed in the bathroom for 27 hours in a bid to watch the Champions League final game free of cost. Both these youths are TikTok influencers by profession and have posted the video of this entire incident on their social media accounts.
Neil and Sean entered the stadium a day before the match disguised as workers engaged in match preparations. He said that as a laborer, he roamed around the galleries and also shot content for his video. During this time no one recognized him. At night, he hid by putting a board outside the bathroom saying Out of Order (bathroom is not working).
Neil told that we had a bag in which we had taken food items. To pass time, we played games on our phones. The stadium lights were on all the time so we did not have any problem. However, sitting in a small bathroom for a long time was uncomfortable. We could not even sleep, so it was very difficult physically and mentally.
Neil said that as the time of the match came closer, fans started coming to use the bathroom. When we heard their voices, we came out, hiding, and reached the gallery by avoiding the security guard checking the tickets. Sean told that we carefully observed which guard was being lax in his duty. We entered from his gate while talking on the phone and carrying food in our hands.
Earlier, this pair had also entered the final match ofthe Belgian Football Cup without tickets. Then both of them had disguised themselves as vendors selling chips. However, the level of the Champions League is different. Neil said, PSG's 5-0 victory was a different feeling. We were in the stands of the supporters of the winning team. It was the most beautiful football match ever.
