"My child is not safe here," said Sanju Samson's father, saddened by the "dirty politics" being used against him
Sanju Samson's father Samson Vishwanath: Sanju Samson's father Samson Vishwanath has said that a conspiracy is being hatched against his son. He is not safe in the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA).
Wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson is in the headlines these days among cricket fans due to not being selected in the Kerala team for the domestic tournament Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Indian team for the Champions Trophy 2025. Now his father Samson Vishwanath has given a big statement regarding this.
He said crying bitterly that a conspiracy is being hatched against his son. He is not safe in the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA). We have never done anything wrong against KCA. There has been no mistake from our side. I and my son have not said anything against them. This is not just a matter of today but we have been facing problems for the last 10-12 years. Know what is the reason behind this, and who is doing this. We do not know about this. We are not blaming KCA.
He further said, that apart from Sanju Samson, the elder brother also performed well for Kerala. The elder son also performed well for Kerala in Under-19 and camp. Despite this, he was not selected in ODIs. The son was also dropped from four matches. That's when I started getting suspicious. 11 years ago these people had said that they would not let Samson come to watch the match. They were talking about banning him. If my son had made a mistake, I would have run to them if they had called me. Why would I pick a fight with such people. My son's career will be ruined.
