Motorola will unveil a 5G phone with a 7000mAh battery, Snapdragon processor, and 68W fast charging today

Smartphone maker Motorola is launching the first 2026 model in its Edge series today. This upcoming device, called the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, has already been listed on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. Here, the company has confirmed the phone's name and color options. While the company hasn't yet announced an official launch date, a steady stream of teasers and online media reports suggest that the phone could arrive in India soon. 

A new teaser appearing on Flipkart suggests that the company may share more information about the phone today, February 23rd. The teaser specifically emphasizes its premium design and large battery. The device is shown in Pantone-curated shades like Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette. According to previous reports, it may also come in Orient Blue and Sporting Green.

Reports reveal the phone's design. The phone is expected to feature curved edges, a textured back panel, and a Motorola logo in the center. A slightly raised square camera module is expected on the back, housing a triple camera cutout and an LED flash.

The listing carries the tagline "a lens that captures what others miss," which suggests a 50MP Sony Lytia primary camera. Reports also suggest a 32MP selfie camera on the front. For performance, the phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It could be available in a 12GB RAM variant and an 8GB RAM model.

This Motorola device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection is expected for the screen. Regarding battery, the phone is expected to have a 7000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
