Motorola is soon launching a new smartphone, potentially called the Motorola Edge 70. This device is likely the successor to the Motorola Edge 60, recently spotted in an online listing. The company has confirmed some key details beforehand, giving us an idea of its features. 

It may feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K 10-bit pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and an Adreno 722 GPU, it is expected to come with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It should run on Android 16 and support dual SIMs.

The camera setup might include a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with OIS and a 120º field of view, and a 50MP front camera for selfies. Video recording could reach 4K at 30fps. The phone may also feature USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos.

Water and dust resistance are expected to be rated at IP68 and IP69, complemented by military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H). Connectivity options should include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The battery is anticipated to be 4800mAh, with a sleek 6mm design.
