MG is preparing to bring the new electric car MG Windsor EV to the Indian market. This will be MG's third EV in India and it will be based on the Wuling Cloud EV sold in the global market. MG Windsor EV will be launched in India on September 11. Let us know what features it is going to come with.

Its body style is crossover and it has given many great designs with the donor model. There is a connected LED DRL strip on its fascia while headlamps are at the bottom. From the side and rear, it has been kept minimalistic and clean design. The connected LED tail lights given in it enhance its look to be more futuristic.

It can have an all-black cabin theme, where there is a bronze insert around the interior. In its recent teaser, it was revealed that it would have a flat-bottom steering wheel and wooden trim inserts on the dashboard. Its rear seats will recline up to 135 degrees with its center armrest.

It would also boast a 15.6-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, and wireless phone charging besides that all. Moreover, it can also be provided with electrically adjustable front seats and an electric tailgate. It can have six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a 360-degree camera for passenger protection. Besides all this, another feature that can also be provided is an Advanced Driver Assistance System-ADAS, which comprises adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking.

According to media reports, the India-spec Windsor EV may have a 38 kWh unit, which will give a range of up to 460 km. The claim being made about this may be slightly different. The battery installed in it will generate 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of peak torque.

Looking at the features available in it, it is expected that the ex-showroom price of MG Windsor EV can be up to Rs 20 lakh. It will be seen competing with vehicles like Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 in India.
