Maruti Suzuki offers the Maruti Dzire in the compact sedan segment in India. Now, if you are planning to buy the base variant of the sedan, which is being offered by the manufacturer, what will be the EMI you need to pay each month after paying a down payment of Rs 1 lakh?

The company, Maruti, offers the base variant of the car, named LXI. The base variant of the compact sedan-style car is being sold by the company at a price of Rs 6.25 lakh. If you are planning to buy this car in Delhi, then you will have to pay the ex-showroom price of the car, which is Rs 6.25 lakh, along with the registration tax and the RTO charges. If you plan to buy the car, then you will have to pay Rs 45,000 for the RTO charges and Rs 32,000 for the insurance. After this, the on-road price of the car in Delhi becomes ₹7.08 lakh.

If you purchase the base variant of the Maruti Dzire, the bank will finance the ex-showroom price. So, after making a down payment of ₹1 lakh, you'll have to finance an amount of approximately ₹6.08 lakh from the bank. If the bank gives you ₹6.08 lakh for seven years at 9% interest, you'll have to pay an EMI of just ₹9,787 per month for the next seven years.

After which, the total price of your car, including ex-showroom, on-road, and interest, will be around Rs 9.22 lakh.

The new generation Dzire is brought by Maruti in the compact sedan car segment. In this segment, it directly competes with compact sedan cars like Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor. Apart from this, it also faces competition in terms of price from some premium hatchback cars and compact SUVs.
