Mahindra is preparing to bring Scorpio N with the normal version as well as the Black Edition. The company will launch this edition on 24 February 2025. Many big changes can be made in the Black Edition as compared to the normal SUV.
Mahindra will give the correct information about the features and engine only after launching the Black Edition of Scorpio N. However it is expected that many changes will be made in the Black Edition as compared to the normal variant which will mostly be cosmetic. No change is expected in the engine of the SUV.
According to the information, no change will be made in the design of the Black Edition. The front and rear lights can be given a black touch with smoke. In the side profile, the door handle of the SUV can be made matte black. Apart from this, the alloy wheels will also be kept completely black. At the same time, the interior will be brought with an all-black theme instead of a dual tone. Along with this, features like an inch infotainment system, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, Auto AC, front ventilated seats, six airbags, ABS, EBD, and Hill Assist will be given in it.
The same engine that will be given by the company in the regular model will also be fitted in the Black Edition. In this also, the 2.2-liter diesel engine version will be given along with the two-liter petrol engine. Both the engines will be given 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. Along with this, the option of rear-wheel and four-wheel drive will also be given in it.
Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition prices will be known only after its launch. But it will be offered in the top trim as well as the mid-trim. If so, there might be slight differences in its pricing in comparison with the regular variant.
Mahindra launches Scorpio N in the mid-size SUV segment in the market. In this segment, recently Tata Harrier and Tata Safari's Stealth Edition have been launched. These will compete with the Black Edition of Mahindra Scorpio N. Apart from these, the SUV will also compete with MG Hector BlackStorm Edition.
