Jass’s journey began in a small town in Jalandhar, Punjab, where her family and teachers found her passion for writing at a young age. Her first article was published when she was in 6th class & it helped her to book a space in the school notice board for years. Even after years of her schooling, her photo was still on the notice board because nobody could replace it. Her debut book ‘Strang Silly (Soul) Bonding, published in 2020, gained significant praise, positioning her as an upcoming literary sensation. She got a couple of offers to make a movie based on her book but she has not found the deserving movie platform for it yet. Just recently, she has published her second book as well, titled ‘Long Distance Relationship (Situationship). This book is published on an international level and within 3 days, it crossed 500 downloads on all platforms.
She doesn’t like to earn from her book writing skill. Her favorite income source is her IT business. Jass’s natural business drive inspired a new route for her. She delved into the field of content writing at a very young age and started her own IT firm after years. This signaled the start of an exciting new phase in her career. Since then, there has been no looking back. From the time since Jass started her career, till date, she has worked with several businesses, from startups and corporates. Her clientele includes businesses not just in India but across the globe. Jass Makkar is not someone who is only into the money-making business. She is active on social media and helps people find jobs as well.
