JioBharat: Jio's TV phone shows wonders, 1 crore people connected to 4G network

The latest update has been shared by the company regarding Reliance Jio's JioBharat mobile. According to the information given by the company, 1 crore people are connected to the 4G network through Jio's TV mobile. The company claims that JioBharat has a 50% share in the mobile segment priced below 1 thousand. The specialty of this phone is that it gets recharged for Rs 123. In this way, the price of this recharge of JioBharat is the lowest in the industry.

According to the latest update, those people who use 2G and 3G services are connected to the 4G network due to this phone. The number of these customers has been more than 1 crore. According to the report, about 25 crore consumers are still using feature phones.

In a letter to shareholders, Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, "The launch of JioBharat Phone is another revolutionary step towards bridging the digital divide in the country. JioBharat Phone is a smartphone available at the price of a feature phone, it will prove to be a big step in realizing the dream of 2G-free India."

Launched a year ago, JioBharat offers apps and digital facilities like UPI, JioCinema, and JioTV. This is a cheap device from the company which is equipped with the features of a smartphone. An affordable data facility is also available with this device. Private telecom companies have recently made their recharge plans expensive, in this sequence, Jio's plans have also become expensive. But the good thing is that JioBharat can still be recharged for just Rs 123.
