In such a situation, a big problem has arisen in front of BCCI. The board is continuously discussing this matter with the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB). The Board has already indicated this to the franchisees and broadcasters.

This match may be postponed for one or two days, or BCCI may arrange for it to take place in an alternate venue. Regarding this matter, no decision has been made in finality yet. The BCCI has already created the league schedule in two stages due to the elections. The board first released the schedule for the first 21 matches in this tournament. The schedule for the remaining 53 matches was then released, following the announcement of the Lok Sabha election dates.
